Connecticut Wedding Transportation: Couple and Guest Planning

Wedding Limousines

A Connecticut wedding may involve several journeys: the couple leaving a getting-ready location, relatives traveling from a hotel, guests arriving for the ceremony and separate rides home after the reception. Start with a schedule for each group. Royce Limousine, based in Stamford, can review your wedding transportation itinerary, vehicle needs and availability before quoting.

Use the event itinerary planner to prepare a Wedding enquiry. Create a separate itinerary for each group or departure time, then include the ceremony, photo stops and reception details in the notes.

Separate the couple’s ride from guest transportation

  • Couple and wedding party: list each getting-ready address, who travels in each vehicle, any photo location, the ceremony entrance and the reception destination. Include clothing, flowers and other items that need space.
  • Hotel guests: count the passengers for each departure, name the hotel entrance and record the venue arrival deadline. Ask Royce to review whether one departure or several scheduled journeys fit the timetable.
  • End-of-evening rides: identify the couple’s final destination and each guest group’s hotel or home destination. Record the next calendar date when a pickup is after midnight.

Give the organizer and venue coordinator the same schedule. Plan boarding, travel and unloading time with Royce and the venue; a fixed 15-minute buffer is not suitable for every route or group. Confirm any revised ceremony time or extra photo stop before relying on it.

Plan the venue entrance as carefully as the address

For a celebration at The Inn at Longshore, 260 Compo Road South, Westport, distinguish any hotel pickup from the wedding arrival and final return collection. Ask the venue coordinator which entrance and meeting point to use for your event and have Royce review access for the proposed vehicle. Our Westport transportation guide also covers airport journeys for visiting guests.

For Burr Mansion, 739 Old Post Road, Fairfield, provide the event address along with the coordinator’s confirmed drop-off and collection instructions. If guests stay in different hotels, assign each passenger group to its own return destination. See our Fairfield car service guide for the separate airport and local travel details.

If the wedding weekend spans Greenwich, Stamford and another Connecticut town, list each full address in travel order. Venue addresses identify the destination; loading areas, vehicle access and waiting permissions must be confirmed for the event.

Choose seats and luggage space for each journey

  • Sedan or luxury sedan: up to 3 passengers. A standard sedan accommodates up to 3 bags; confirm luggage space for a luxury sedan.
  • SUV or luxury SUV: up to 6 passengers. A standard SUV accommodates up to 6 bags; confirm luggage space for a luxury SUV.
  • Stretch limousine: up to 9 passengers.
  • Sprinter or luxury Sprinter: up to 14 passengers.
  • Shuttle buses: 24-, 36- and 56-passenger options.

Compare the Royce fleet and confirm availability, luggage capacity and boarding needs for the specific vehicle. Bag size affects fit. Tell the team about wedding attire, gifts, child-seat requests or mobility requirements before selecting a vehicle. Passenger capacity alone does not establish space for those items.

Keep airport arrivals separate from the wedding-day schedule

Out-of-town guests may arrive at JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, Westchester County or Bradley. Give Royce each arriving flight number, local landing date, passenger count, luggage details and hotel address. Guests landing on different flights may need different pickup arrangements; do not assume one shared pickup fits every arrival.

Review the published Connecticut airport sedan and SUV fares for listed routes. Those one-way fares include tolls, taxes and gratuity; child seats, meet-and-greet and extra waiting are excluded. Airport pickups include one hour of waiting from landing and home pickups include 15 minutes. Wedding transport, hotel pickups, guest shuttles and waiting at venues need their own confirmed quote and terms.

Confirm the return plan and the full wedding quote

Before reserving, check the vehicle, passenger count, every pickup and destination, agreed duration, minimum booking requirement if applicable, and how waiting or additional time is charged. Ask about changes, cancellation terms, child seats and any requested extras. If the celebration ends later than planned, contact Royce to confirm an extension or revised collection; availability is not automatic.

Build your wedding itinerary, request a wedding transportation quote, or call (203) 344-5151. Include one organizer’s contact details and the venue coordinator’s instructions. An enquiry does not confirm a reservation; review the arrangements and confirmation with Royce before travel.
