The last part of an airport journey begins after landing: getting off the aircraft, collecting bags and finding the meeting point for your ride. A confirmed pickup plan helps you know what to do before leaving the terminal for Stamford or another Connecticut destination.
Royce Limousine serves JFK, LGA, EWR, HPN and BDL. Use this arrival guide alongside the instructions for your reservation and our airport car service overview.
Before flying: keep the pickup details with you
Check the arriving flight number, local arrival date, airport and destination address on your itinerary. If another person arranged the car, ask them to send you the confirmation and transport contact details before you travel.
- Provide a passenger mobile number that will work when you arrive.
- Confirm the terminal and meeting arrangement, including whether the pickup is inside or at a designated vehicle area.
- Share passenger numbers, checked luggage and bulky items such as a stroller or sports equipment.
- Discuss mobility needs and any assistance required between the terminal and vehicle. Confirm the arrangement before the trip.
After landing: distinguish arrival from pickup readiness
Landing does not mean you are immediately outside the terminal. You may still need to leave the aircraft, complete arrival formalities and collect baggage. Keep the reservation contact details available while you move through the airport.
Royce airport pickups include one hour of free waiting after the flight’s landing time. If baggage collection or arrival formalities take longer, update the team using your reservation contact instructions and ask about any additional waiting charges. The included waiting period is not unlimited.
Follow the confirmed meeting instructions
Check the terminal, level and designated pickup location before leaving the building. Airport road access and car-service meeting points may change, so follow current airport signs and the instructions confirmed for your ride. If those instructions appear to conflict, contact Royce to clarify the location.
Avoid assuming that the vehicle will meet you directly outside baggage claim. Ask whether your reservation includes an inside meeting arrangement or requires you to reach another pickup area. For JFK-specific planning, read our Stamford–JFK car service guide.
If your flight or destination changes
Send Royce any replacement flight number, changed airport or new arrival date as soon as the itinerary is confirmed. Ask for confirmation of the revised pickup. Our flight-delay and pickup planning guide explains the details to share.
If you need an extra stop or a different Connecticut destination, discuss it before starting the journey. Give the full address and ask how the change affects availability, timing and the quote.
Check the vehicle and destination details
When requesting the trip, match the vehicle to both passengers and luggage. Use the Royce fleet overview to discuss options, and ask the team to confirm suitable space. Do not assume a vehicle has room for extra large items solely from its seating capacity.
For an office or hotel destination, include the entrance or building instructions. For a home address, include any access details that will help complete the drop-off. See our Connecticut service areas for nearby towns.
Arrange your arrival transfer
Request an airport pickup quote with your arrival details, destination, passenger count and luggage requirements. Ask Royce to confirm the meeting arrangement, included waiting and any additional charges before booking.
